Creating an invoice

FieldGate lets you create professional invoices and proposals that can be sent to clients with a shareable link.

How to create

1. Go to Jobs and open the job you want to invoice
2. Click Create Invoice
3. Add line items, each with a description, quantity, and rate
4. Set a tax rate if applicable
5. Add a due date and any notes for the client
6. Click Save

Sending to clients

Click Share on the invoice to copy the public link. Send this link to your client. They can view, sign, and pay the invoice without needing a FieldGate account.

Invoice vs Proposal

FieldGate supports both invoices and proposals. Proposals are used before work begins. Clients can sign to approve the scope and cost. Once work is done, convert it to an invoice for payment.
